The Funding Factory
Founded in 1997, The Funding Factory makes it easy for schools to succeed in fundraising by providing a suite of unique funding programs and an online applications interface for managing the school fundraising process.
Funding Factory is perhaps best known for its Cartridge Recycling Program, formerly known as ETCEP. With this award-winning program, over 15 thousand schools are collecting empty laser, inkjet cartridges and used cell phones from their communities. The collected cartridges and phones earn points, which schools redeem through the Funding Factory's online catalog of technology and or recreation products.
The Murdoch Funding Factory collection box is located in our Media Center. If you would like to sign your company up to be a contributor on our behalf, please contact
Scott Glidden, Director of Development at 978.970.0100 ext.306. Being a contributor is simple. The Funding Factory will send your company pre-paid UPS collection boxes. Once they are filled they are sent to the Funding Factory and the points are applied on our behalf.
Window Decals and More:
Murdoch now has pens, pencils, water bottles and window decals. All are available for $1 or less. Contact Erin Attfield for more information and look for these items to be on sale at upcoming Murdoch events.
Box Tops for Education
Our school participates in General Mills' Box Tops for Education program to help earn extra cash to buy the things it needs. This year our goal is to raise 300.00. In order to reach that goal we are really going to have to get the word out. You could help by asking your friends and family to just clip the box tops off General Mills products! You could also shop online and our school will earn a percentage of the profits.
This fundraiser is great because we are not asking you to buy anything extra, just clip the tops from products you already have and shop through the boxtops4education website. It is all very simple!! This is a very generous program going on now through December 3rd. When you shop at Hannaford Food Markets you will notice HUNDREDS of products marked with Hannaford Helps Schools tags. The product listing flyers went home in Friday folders. You can also go to www.hannaford.com and click on the 9-19-2005 event to get to the product list. For every combination of 4 of these products, you will receive a Hannaford Helps School Coupon at the register worth $3.00. Please submit these coupons to Murdoch so we can use them. We have the potential to raise valuable funds for our student programs just by purchasing many products we already buy. The local school that earns the most in this program will be awarded a $1,000 bonus!
